ABOUT.
Toni is a Bay Area Native from Pittsburg, CA. She graduated from California State University, East Bay in 2014 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Shortly after, she emerged herself in the art of story-telling and enrolled into an art school program. Toni landed a paid internship as a Video Producer at a hit local Sports Radio Station in 2019 while studying Editing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. During her time at 95.7 The Game (Sports Radio), she built her skills in Graphic Design by creating videos and graphics for social media. Later that year, Toni also stepped into a teaching/mentorship role at KDOL TV/YouthBeat; educating at-risk youth in the media arts. She taught advanced filmmaking and music video production to high school students, strengthening her skills in lighting, cinematography, production, and post production.
After graduate school, Toni shifted her focus to post production when she was accepted into the Handy Foundations' 6-week Assistant Editor Training Program in 2021. Upon her completion of the program, she immediately landed an Assistant Editor position at IPC where she worked on a documentary, reality series, and documentary series. Since then she has AE’d on various reality tv shows and documentary series, such as: Coach Prime, Top Chef, and Netflix’s The Circle. She is also the owner of a streetwear brand and independent media production company focused on sharing stories of those with diverse backgrounds.
